♪♪Kae's Franken Part2~Mysterious Gold Nails♪♪

Good Evening~!!
My food nails are removed nice and safely,
so I'd like to continue with showing off my purchase
from Kae

Part1 is here.

Okay!
This is "MAGIC POTION".
A dark purple base with subtle blue sparkles
It is so beautiful and I would drink a potion with this colour!!

One coat shows a more lighter purple colour,
and a totally dark purple with two coats.

And this is "PEACHES & GREEN"
This one has a party of gold and silver glitters

I thought this combination will work well together
to make a mysterious look.

It was so funny, I found a very similar design
on Nailside blog too!!
Not exactly the same, but I was kind of happy that there was
someone who did a similar design on the same day
without knowing(o^-^o)

Anyway!
I wanted some more mysteriousness (is this a word?),
I added some hand painting design
Now I can hardly see the purple( ̄ロ ̄lll)
I shouldn't have done this!!!

Oh well...lesson learned!!

Thank you for your time!!
See you soon~!!

Food Nail Art Contest Part 3ヾ(@^▽^@)ノ

Hallo~!!
Continuing from the two previous posts:

I'd like to show you a little bit about
how I assembled my miniature foods today
They're just before being served on my nails, hehehe

I made a salad bowl, tomatoes and lettuce separately
using acrylics. This is how I put them together...
Sticking lettuce in a freshly picked acrylic pool.
I prefer using acrylics to stick acrylics together,
rather than using super glue.

Placing the tomatoes as well

Coating with clear acrylic mixture
so that they don't fall off the bowl

The next one is the pizza
I needed to cut around the edges of the salami
because they were too big!

Same as the salad, stick them using clear acrylic mixture.

This is a sushi boat made with acrylic and painted
with a gold nail polish.

Place rice balls which are the bottoms of the sushi
Then I realized that I made 4 sushi,
but only 3 of them were able to fit LOL!

Place sushi tops.
They're all attached with clear acrylic mixture.

Complete the boat by placing sashimi,
lemon, a leaf and a prawn.

This is how I assembled my miniature foods!
It may look difficult to do, but it's actually not that hard.
I'd love you to try if you're interested

There are more designs which are fun and cute!
Please check them out:

Thank you very much for visiting me~!!

Food Nail Art Contest Part 2ヾ(@^▽^@)ノ

Good morning~!!

Today I'll show you how I made my
"Good Enough to Eat" nail art contest entry!

I normally draw what's on my mind in a notebook first
before designing my nails

And then I start designing the bases
using an air brush on two nails.
The green stickers are masking sheets.

Adding some designs to the middle fingernail
with an air brush

The rest of the nails are painted with
nail polishes and acrylic paint.

Let's move onto the food parts!
They're all hand made with acrylics

The photos on top are before being painted,
and the bottom photos are after being painted
with acrylic paint.

Pizza, salami and cucumber!

Sashimi, cherry tomatoes and salad leaves.

Sushi tops and sashimi!

A slice of lemon, some leaves and a whole prawn.

A cup of latte, gummy bears and a croissant.

I really enjoyed painting these foods
I looked through Google Images to see
what the real foods look like and
that made me hungry so many times!! Hahaha!!

Okay! That's all for today!
Sorry for LOTS of photos!! Your eyes must be tired...

I'll show you the assembling photos asap!
Hopefully that'll be tomorrow

Have a wonderful day~!!

Food Nail Art Contest Part1ヾ(@^▽^@)ノ

Hello~!!

I've entered the
"Good Enough to Eat" Nail Art Contest

All the entries are posted on her blog now,
so I can show you my entry in more detail!!

This is my entry...
Too many things are scattered everywhere~!!!!
But please let me explain! It'll all make sense!

Okay,
the theme of this contest is "Food".
I spent lots of time choosing which type of food I should pick to design,
because I have too many favourite foods!!
Hehehe

So, what I came up with was
to pick foods that I love to eat in one day!
It starts from breakfast and ends with dinner
Now I'll show you the cooking process! hehe(゚∀゚*)ノ

This is what I started with...
My nails are extended with acrylic nails.

And then, I designed a tablecloth for each nail,
made miniature foods using mainly acrylics,
painted these foods with acrylic paint,
and assembled them onto my nails.
(I'll show you this part tomorrow!)

The happy day starts with a nice breakfast!
I chose a croissant and a glass of fresh orange juice!
Sitting on a white lacy tablecloth.

I feel like a cup of latte and a strawberry muffin
on a fun colourful table mat!
Oops! I stumbled on something and my latte is gonna spill!!

Lunch time!!
My favourite mini pizza and fresh salad
on the picnic cloth!

Another snack attack!!
A big slice of strawberry cake, choc chip cookies
and gummy bears!!
I have to keep these mischievous bears on my hanky!

At the end of the day,
I'd love to enjoy a gorgeous sushi boat
at my favourite Japanese restaurant!!

Hehe, I enjoyed going through each design with you!
Thank you very much for reading.
I'll show you these food parts before they were assembled
on my post tomorrow!

There are more fun food nail art at
They look so fun and you can spend a whole day there!!

And if you could vote for me (No.22), I would appreciate it sooo much
and I'll love you for the rest of my life!!!!(☆゚∇゚)☆

Thank you~!!

♪♪Kae's Franken Part1~Strawberry Nails♪♪

How are you~?!

About a month ago, I bought a few nail polishes
from Kae(^^)v

She writes a blog about her beautiful nails and
 also makes very unique frankens!!

And I couldn't resist getting some of her
beautiful frankens for myself(^w^)

This is what I got!!
I bought 6 frankens, but there're 7!!! ヘ(゚▽゚ヘ)
She put one for free~!! Aw~ she is so sweet (*^▽^*)

They arrived safely with her hand written message(゚▽゚)

I couldn't write about this untill now because
I wanted to do some nail art with them!!

So, here we go.
Kae's Franken No.1 - Strawberry
This is a beautiful strawberry red with black seeds in it.

I decided to do a sweet looking nail art with this!
First, cover one half of the nails with tape,
and apply "Strawberry" on the bottom half.

They look like this when the masking tapes are off.

Draw some lace along the polish line...

I wanted to put a strawberry slice, but it kinda
disappeared  in the red background,
so I added an apple slice instead:p

So!
This was my first nail art using her franken.
What do you think??

Thank you for visiting~!!
Please have a wonderful weekend!!!
